Lyrical Ballads

What it is: Lyrical Ballads is a series of continual works that are written alongside songs. It's more than integrating lyrics into the story; the individual stories tell the songs that they are written with. They are like the written form of Music Videos.

How it started: I was listening to Faye Wong's 'Eyes On Me' and I wondered how it would be like to tell the story of the song to another. That started the first of the Lyrical Ballads that soon led to another as I got more and more intrigued by my characters.

Disclaimers: Even though I am using different songs, their lyrics and melody as the basis of my story, the plot and characters are mine. They are not to be borrowed or referred to without permission. I have borrowed the title Lyrical Ballads off Wordsworth and Coleridge. It seems fitting, somehow.

Warning: I think this can be described as heavy reading material. If you're looking for comedy or light-hearted romance, you might want to save this for a rainy day. The works are of an alternate nature. Go no further if:

a) that is not to your taste,
b) that is not to the taste of your state, or
c) you're too young to taste anything of that nature.
